Tabs

The Tabs bar is located along the bottom of a module window:

Each module comprises a number of tabs (think of a tab as a page), each one recording different details. Select a tab to open that page.

Tabs only display when a single record is open in Details View.

You access a tab by either:

  1. Selecting its tab in the Tabs bar (in the example above, the Person tab is open and the Associations tab is about to be selected)

    -OR-

Selecting its name from the Tabs menu in the Menu bar (e.g. Tabs>Associations):

When a tab label has focus:

Click on the small arrows Task bar navigation arrows in the Tab bar to cycle through the tabs to the left or right of the current tab

-OR-

Press the left or right keyboard arrow keys to move to the next or previous tab.

Note: When a tab label has focus a border displays around the label as for the Person tab in the examples above. To give a tab label focus, select it with the mouse or use the TAB key to cycle through the fields until the tab label is reached.

See How to move from one tab to another for more details.
